The U-SAVE project will develop and demonstrate an innovative integrated aerial system capable of rapidly transporting any life-saving supplies in response to emergency cases in urban or sub-urban areas. This solution seeks to improve response times and safety, avoiding road traffic congestion and risks during emergencies and increasing the efficiency of emergency services. The solution incorporates hybrid energy aerial systems combining hydrogen and electric power, thereby leveraging sustainable energy sources to enhance performance and minimise environmental impact. These advanced systems are designed to operate efficiently in complex urban aerial environments, providing a reliable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional terrestrial emergency response methods. The aerial service proposed will be integrated through an intelligent and modular software specially tailored for Air Traffic Management and Urban Air Mobility emergency operations, deploying a robust and resilient solution.
